Office Moving Services
GCS Logistics has moved a lot of offices over the years. Your move actually starts about a month prior when we deliver all of the boxes and materials that you’ll need to pack for your move. But, at the end of the day, it’s all about service. We’ll hold a very comprehensive pre-move staff meeting to review in detail your staff’s responsibilities. After all, it’s our job to make sure that on move day… you’re ready! But relax, because we’re going to show you how to get there. Ultimately it’s the crews that can make or break any relocation. With the movers we work with, they’re all heavily vetted, thus you’re ensured crews are experienced in the proper padding and handling of high-end office furniture because this is all we do. We also take extra precautions by covering flooring as needed and adding wall protection within high-traffic areas as well. We try to make sure that the old space given back to the landlord passes their inspection and that your new space is still, well, new! We’re also very experienced at moving libraries, computers and servers, and copiers, all on air ride, lift gate trucks.
Warehouse and Product Moves
Moving warehouses generally involves moving truckloads of products and equipment. At GCS Logistics, Inc., we have the resources to handle that challenge. Whether your move is a driver-only relocation, where your staff loads and unloads our trucks and we just supply the drivers, or whether you’d prefer that we do it all, we have the experience and the capacity to move your facility quickly and seamlessly. We’re experienced at tearing down and building all sorts of pallet and cantilever racking and can bolt down your racking to seismic standards as dictated by your local codes. With some types of shelving, in fact, we can even move your shelving intact, shrink-wrapped with the product still on the shelving! Pad Wrap Transportation
Often we have customers that are either moving their entire facility out of state, are closing down a location, or are simply moving locally and then moving their excess furniture to another location. Either way, we can help. We have access not only to our own van lines for the shipping of truckloads of office furniture, but we have access to many air ride, pad wrap truckload carriers, as well as LTL carriers for your skidded freight. We can palletize record storage cartons, filing cabinets, or modular furniture panels and then ship that product on air ride common carriers to keep costs down. We have experience moving both small shipments and truckloads of office furniture, panel systems, high-value products, and electronic equipment anywhere in the country on air ride, pad wrap logistics vans, helping to ensure that your goods arrive safely, on time, and at a very surprising price!
Ancillary Services
GCS Logistics, Inc. offers many services on an outsourced, third-party arrangement with vendors that we’ve known for years. Don’t shop for vendors blind, rather, take advantage of the relationships that we have built up over the years. Services that we may help you with include workstation sales, tear down and set up of most major brands, computer disconnect and reconnect, sale of used and new racking systems and mezzanines, relocation of heavy equipment, and many other services. Just ask, and let us help you select your vendors. In fact, in most cases, we can even act as a single point of contact! Let us coordinate all of your various efforts and then provide you with one final invoice at the end to include all services, not just the move.
